Founder story

It started with Salem — one very stubborn cat.

Salem walked past his water bowl a dozen times a day and barely touched it. Fountains, new bowls, different spots in the flat — he inspected them all, thoroughly unimpressed.

So we asked a simple question: why is there no drink made properly for cats? Not a gimmick, not a garnish on the pet-food shelf — a real product, developed with the same care we'd expect for ourselves.

catsoda is that project. Built in Switzerland, slowly, with a lot of curiosity — and one very demanding Chief Taste Officer who still has the final word.
